Who we are
Meridian Transformation AB in Malmö, Sweden, is responsible for the personal data described here. For questions or requests, email hello@meridianai.se.
The short version
- Without your yes, this site sets no cookies and sends nothing to Google Analytics.
- Fonts and everything else on the site come from our own domain.
- Feedback you send is kept for twelve months, then deleted automatically.
- We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we collect and why
Feedback on the job search guide
- What
- Your answers, or the summary your AI wrote. Which AI you use, phone or laptop, your browser language, and the steps you marked in the guide if you leave them in. Your name and email only if you choose to give them, and your email only if you ask to test what we build next.
- Why
- To improve the guide, and to contact you about testing if you asked us to.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, given when you press Send. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
- How long
- Twelve months, then deleted automatically. Stored in our Google Firebase database in the EU.
Emails and the contact form
- What
- The contact form opens your own email app, so nothing is stored on this site. When you email us, we have what you write and your email address.
- Why
- To answer you and follow up on what you asked.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in replying to you, or the steps towards an agreement if you ask about our services.
- How long
- As long as the conversation needs, and no longer than 24 months after we last hear from you, unless the law requires us to keep it, for example for accounting.
Google Analytics, only if you accept
- What
- Which pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from LinkedIn), your device and browser type, and your approximate location at country or city level. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an id) holding a random identifier. It does not store your IP address. Advertising features are switched off.
- Why
- To see which pages help people, and which do not.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, under the GDPR and the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (chapter 9, section 28). Nothing loads until you accept.
- How long
- The cookies last up to 13 months. Google keeps the statistics for up to 14 months.
Counting guide opens, without cookies
- What
- When someone opens the guide from our link, we add one to that day's count for the tag in the link, for example linkedin. No cookie, nothing stored on your device, and nothing that could identify you.
- Why
- To know whether the guide reaches people, and through which channels.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest. The counts are not personal data.
- How long
- The daily counts are kept as long as they are useful.
Running the site
- What
- Like any web server, our hosting briefly processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages.
- Why
- To show you the site and protect it from abuse.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site.
- How long
- Short-lived server logs, handled by our hosting provider.
Stored in your own browser
The guide remembers your language, your setup choices, your progress and the steps you marked, and this site remembers your cookie choice. All of it stays in your browser. Nothing reaches us unless you send feedback, and you see what is included before you send. This storage is needed for the features you use, so it does not need consent. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your cookie choice
You can change your answer at any time. If you withdraw it, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies.
Who else handles the data
Google provides our hosting, our database and Google Analytics, and handles the data on our behalf under its data processing terms. Feedback is stored in the EU. Some data may be processed by Google in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Google's standard contractual clauses also apply. We share your data with no one else.
If you open the guide on claude.ai rather than on this site, Anthropic's privacy policy applies there.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to our use of it, or receive a copy. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that does not affect what happened before. Email hello@meridianai.se and we will answer within one month. Feedback carries no name unless you gave one, so tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said, and we will find it.
You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we update this page and, where it matters, ask for your cookie choice again. Questions about any of this are welcome: get in touch.
